The deciding value is the official closing value of the Nikkei 225 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on October 30, 2026, as shown by online financial information services such as Google Finance. The official close is published at the end of each Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) trading day at 3:30 PM Japan time, which is 12:30 AM CT (1:30 AM CT during daylight saving time), and the value becomes final at that time. The outcome is Yes if that closing value is above the value specified in the market question and No otherwise. If the TSE has an unplanned closure on that date, the closing value of the next trading day is used. Early resolution does not apply, and if the closing value is delayed, resolution waits until it is published.
