Rules

The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) provides the deciding information in the Federal Reserve's monetary policy statement press release for the FOMC meeting on October 28, 2026, whose final paragraph lists any dissenting members after "Voting against this action were". Members who are absent or not voting do not count as dissenting, and only dissents that favor a different target range for the federal funds rate count, not votes against the action for other reasons such as statement language, forward guidance or policy bias. The outcome is Yes if the dissent outcome described in the market question, such as whether any member dissented or how many members dissented, occurred at that meeting, and No otherwise. The value becomes final when the statement is released at 1:00 PM CT at the conclusion of the meeting, and early resolution does not apply. If the statement is delayed, resolution waits until it is released.
