Rules

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) publishes the deciding data, which is the CME daily settlement price, on October 2, 2026, of the E-mini S&P 500 Index futures contract month specified in the market question, which is the lead month, or the second month on a day when the lead month goes through final settlement. The outcome is Yes if that settlement price is above the value specified in the market question and No otherwise. The value becomes final when CME makes the final version of its daily settlement bulletin for that date available, at 10:00 AM CT on the next business day, early resolution does not apply, and if the settlement bulletin is delayed, resolution waits until it is published.

The S&P 500 is a stock index that tracks 500 of the largest US publicly traded companies by market value. The event is the daily settlement price of E-mini S&P 500 Index Futures, electronically traded contracts sized at a fraction of a standard S&P 500 futures contract, for a set contract month on October 2, 2026.
