The outcome is decided by the year-over-year percent change in the Composite Consumer Price Index for October 2026, as published by Hong Kong's Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) in its monthly CPI release, on the line labeled Composite Consumer Price Index (Year-on-year % change), issued between the 20th and 23rd of the following month at 3:30 PM Hong Kong time (2:30 AM CT). The outcome is Yes if that change is above the value specified in the market question and No otherwise. The outcome is determined from the value as first published in that release, early resolution does not apply, and if the release is delayed, resolution waits until it is published.
