Rules

The outcome is decided by the USD/JPY exchange rate, the value of one US Dollar in Japanese Yen terms, taken from the euro foreign exchange reference rates published by the European Central Bank (ECB) for October 30, 2026. Where the pair does not include the euro, the rate is derived by dividing the ECB reference rate for the Japanese Yen against the euro by the ECB reference rate for the US Dollar against the euro, since the ECB quotes both rates per euro. The outcome is Yes if that rate is above the value specified in the market question and No otherwise. The reference rates are set at the ECB's daily concertation at 14:10 CET and published on TARGET business days at about 16:00 CET (9:00 AM CT, or 10:00 AM CT when CT and CET are offset by daylight saving time), and the outcome is determined at that publication. Early resolution does not apply, and if the release is delayed, resolution waits until it is published.
